Don't judge Miami without going. Its nothing like TV. My list from a year agoAtlanta-pretty nice. especially buckhead. I expected a big charlotte but it was more like a little southern version of LAAtlantic City-decent. dont really need to go to vegas when you have all the casinos and its at the beachNashville-Incredible. This was prolly my least disired city but the downtown is amazing and reminds me of a southern version of NYC. One of the best downtowns in America. Memphis-Slightly nicer than I expected but Beale st was way overratedCharlotte-It was decent, much better than I expectedMy current listIts hard to have a list at all now after opening my eyes and seeing how great a city you don't expect can be. LouisvilleSt LouisMinneapolisIndianapolis/hating on the midwest now instead of the south[Edited on September 23, 2009 at 7:22 PM. Reason : whew]

Landshark stadium is probably the worst thing about Miami. You guys are ok as long as you are being technical and not including Miami beach, coral gables, coconut grove, aventura and sunny isles when you say "miami" becuase none of those are in the city of Miami but are usually referenced as "greater miami"Care to clarify? Because it would seem odd if one had no interest to go to one of the world's top tropical party/relax/shop paradises.[Edited on September 23, 2009 at 7:37 PM. Reason : it would be just as bad as having nyc or la on your list]V [Edited on September 23, 2009 at 7:37 PM. Reason : how can nyc miami la chicago make it to any of these lists]

Here's my clarification: my mom lived there for a long time, as well as my dad and Granma and from everything I heard it wasn't that great. My whole point is I would never plan a trip just to go to Miami. Why the fuck do you care is the real question.

I still have family down there, so it doesn't really matter that they moved. And you're really not gonna sell it to me. I'm perfectly content with not seeing the wonders that Miami apparently has to offer, thanks. I'd rather go to other places.. like Dublin. Give it up shawty
9/23/2009 7:57:03 PM
the OP is fucking stupid
9/23/2009 7:58:19 PM
You don't even know how to do Dublin though. You can drink guinness in Garner. If you prefer gloomy chilly weather to laying on white sand by day, and worldclass food and clubbing by night, suit yourself. What exactly is your family saying and where do they stay? I bet they live in Kendall or not even in dade. Living there is also different as there are no jobs and it gets sticky as shit in the summer plus you have the threat of hurricanes.
9/23/2009 8:03:14 PM
has anyone in here actually traveled? cause i see some dumb ass shit on these lists."don't judge miami until you've been - its nothing like tv"been, judged, sucks. but some places on the lists people have are actually kinda cool.
9/23/2009 8:06:13 PM
Harlem, Watts, Little Havana (Miami), South Raleigh.
9/23/2009 8:08:04 PM
Miami kinda sucks. Dublin is much better.
