Since TWW is a blog, I figured I would share this little story with you.

I'm headed to work and I am on the entrance ramp to I-40 from Mt. Hope Church Rd. The entrance to this ramp has a yield coming from my direction and through traffic coming from the other direction. Well, there is a car in front of me with an old lady driving and her even older husband in the passenger side. She fails to see the yield and almost drives right into a pick-up truck entering from the other direction. Dude in the pick-up truck swerves and misses her, no harm done.

So what does the jackass in the truck do? Does he just flip her off, honk, and drive off? Hell no. He stops his car in the middle of the ramp and gets out. By now there are already 2 other cars behind me. He proceeds to walk up to the OLD LADY in the car and scream at her, including several obscenities.

Me being the good semaritan that I am, of course I rolled down my window and asked the motherfucker if it made him feel like a big man to scream at an old lady. He said something along the lines of "Well what the fuck are you going to do about it?" and started walking toward my car. I took off my seatbelt and opened my door. He made it about halfway before he changed his mind, got in his truck, and sped off.

yeah, I'm pretty badass.

Possible that the old lady shouldn't be driving in the first place and almost killed a single father on his way to work to support his children. I'd be pissed in that situation as well.

I would be in favor of mandatory yearly driving tests for drivers over the age of 65. 5 year renewals and a written test aren't enough to get these dangerous geezers off the road.

My roommate saw an old lady about to put diesel into her car one morning on the way to work so he ran over and told her that would mess up her engine. She thanked him and he offered to pump her gas. When he'd filled the tank he told her how much it was and offered to take her money in and pay for her.

The woman looked at her purse, then looked back at him and said "You must be one of those uppity niggers trying to rob me. I'm calling the police." and then started digging around for her cell phone. He told the attendant what happened and then sped off.

Kudos to djeternal, people like that piss me off so bad. Was the pickup truck red/burgundy? I had a similar experience yesterday afternoon turning left out of the gas station/wendy's right there onto Knox to go up on Mt Hope to get on 40. This guy was turning onto Knox as I was pulling out and the fucker floors it spinning tires and all like he's trying run into my car. I was pretty much out of his way by the time he got there but he locks his brakes up looks directly at me and starts talking shit. I just drove up to the light but it's red and he gets out of his truck and starts walking down the road throwing his hands up talking shit. I rolled my window down and he yelled "What? What? What's up dude?" and I was like "Not much man, how 'bout you," and just busted out laughing. Then the light turned green and I got the hell out of there.
