1. Yes, maybe 1/2 the time, but usually not if somebody else is going to read it2. Yes, I was required to write in cursive until 8th grade and I kept doing it in highschool and beyond, although I use it less and less

haha sometimes I right write and some times I right wrong.

I've never been able to write proper cursive, and I even have trouble reading it sometimes, like when my great-aunts or grandma write me letters. I don't have chicken scratch writing though, I still manage to link most/all my letters together.

yeah my "normal" style is infused with cursive, sortof a hybrid that has developed over the years. I find it much more efficient (and pretty!) than either style alonebut i'd definitely have to think about it from time to time were i to try to write purely in cursive

here's a couple of pages from some old sketchbooksyou can see my handwritings
9/26/2009 11:55:03 AM
yes I can write in cursive, sometimes I do it when I get bored in classbut my normal handwriting is a very girly combination
9/26/2009 11:56:28 AM
top picture. right sidedid you draw a little dick on that thing? hahahaha
9/26/2009 11:57:11 AM
i avoid cursive like the plague
9/26/2009 11:57:23 AM
I don't, but I can
9/26/2009 11:58:22 AM
i actually never learned how to write in cursive. it took me forever to write those sentences at the beginning of the SATs. so no, i don't write in cursive.

My handwriting is actually somewhat acceptable in cursive, and looks like a 4 year old when I print. but i still print
9/26/2009 12:02:15 PM
i hated the cursive part on the sat. i didnt go to the bathroom to finish writing it
9/26/2009 12:04:13 PM
I don't even remember there being a cursive part to the SAT.
9/26/2009 12:06:12 PM
i know the tests around 2002ish had a part where you had to copy some paragraph onto 3 lines. i think it was like "i didn't cheat" kinda statement.
9/26/2009 12:07:10 PM
ohh yea, i do remember that.
9/26/2009 12:07:25 PM
do they still even teach cursive?
9/26/2009 12:10:09 PM
Ever since engineering drafting class, its all caps, all the time, my signature notwithstanding. I developed an almost caligraphic (is that even a word) styled signature in high school which stuck, but i have to really take my time for it to look nice.
9/26/2009 12:11:22 PM
The only time I use cursive is as a signature--otherwise, it's all print, all the time.
9/26/2009 12:19:15 PM
No, yes, and my signature is hella illegible
9/26/2009 12:19:48 PM
the only year we really did cursive was 3rd grade. 4th grade teacher would ask us to do it rarely...after that never really again
9/26/2009 12:19:55 PM
I used to do it all the time, and now I've pretty much completely forgotten how to do it
9/26/2009 12:21:04 PM
the only part of my signature you can make out is the E and the S
9/26/2009 12:23:08 PM
mostly cursive script for myself
9/26/2009 12:23:58 PM
Mine used to be awful, but I started making it legible last year. Now I'm pretty happy with it.
9/26/2009 12:25:05 PM
No. Signature only. Haven't written in cursive since 3rd grade.
9/26/2009 6:27:09 PM
All caps. My signature has become a minimal and stylized...damn you Marvin M and the freshman lecture class.
9/26/2009 6:43:13 PM
I used too.Im not sure.
9/26/2009 6:44:44 PM
I learned to type before I could write cursive. I thought it was stupid and pointless. My signature looks terrible, and my actual print handwriting is almost as bad.
