Drive another 20 minutes down the road and parking is free and the beach is less crowded

when people bitch at you for driving on the beach is something that sucks about the beach....well it's not the beach that sucks it's the people

also the people that bitch and say that you have to actually hold your dog's leash for him to be considered on a leash (even when the only thing your dog is doing is laying down next to your chair)

I don't like when people drive on the beach but that's why I make sure to go to beaches where it's not allowed. Seems retarded to bitch about it if you chose to go to a beach that allows it.

Dumbasses that don't know how to drive a boat

People who tube/ water ski down the Intercoastal Waterway

Rediculous gas prices at the marinas

Tourist traffic

Other than that I am addicted to the beachand try to be there every available weekend

^^Exactly...Driving on the beach is fun and if someone has a permit to drive on the beach and is being safe and smart about it then you really don't have a reason to get mad about it, if you don't want people driving on the beach don't go to a beach where driving is allowed...at least not during the time it's allowed.

also, people that leave their pile of beer cans behind when they leave.

I like Carolina and Kure beach, but there is a convenience factor if you're staying in Wilmington. All those stoplights going towards Carolina beach suck. On a nice Saturday it'll eat up a lot more than 20 minutes. When you're rolling in a truck and getting 15 MPG it is actually cheaper to just plug $10 into the meter to park at Wrightsville.

Most beaches want you to keep your bathing suit on and that sucks.

I use the spray now which is a lot better but I just hate to have to keep putting it on and if something is missed you find out too late

Yeah, but which spray?

Coppertone spray is some junk...It leaves a residue that builds up and feels nasty.
Banana Boat Sport spray (it's in a pump bottle, not aerosol) is awesome. Get that.
