I have a family vacation coming up in 8 months in Cancun with eleusis and thumper. Any tdub hot chicks/dudes want to go?

Requirements:
1. Do a great job of making my brother and sister-in-law in awe of my pretend awesome love life.
2. Must be able to drink like a sailor and not turn into a sloppy mess.
3. Be comfortable sharing a king size bed or sleeping on a cot, because I'm sure as hell not sleeping on the floor. Also must be comfortable on a nude beach with my family.
4. Vaccinations must be current. I like to bite. Nothing creepy though. Don't worry.

I'm still trying to decide if we should go all-inclusive again. Seemed like a real time saver to eat all our meals on the resort..but the food wasn't that great. Of course, all the free booze was a definite plus.

I'm a proponent of all-inclusive. Swim bars are worth it alone, and then you don't have to worry about the restaurant as much as making sure you get food to keep you a nice, happy drunk.

that's what i was thinking. but we went for our honeymoon last year and by Day 3 all the food started tasting the same and we started wanting to venture out and eat elsewhere. but since we spent so much money on all-inclusive, we figured we should get our money's worth.

I'm in love with the 3-tiered infinity pool at Le Meridien.

But the second option is a villa resort, so we'd have a kitchen and living area. The rooms are much more spacious.

8 months that's some seriously advance planning. I have a trip to hopefully somewhere fun and exotic coming up in less than 8 weeks and i'm still not sure where the hell am i going..

on a related note, i've been to the pool at the Westin Lagunamar linked above, and it was rocking out, even if it was a little crowded considering the size. Not sure about the rooms though, I stayed at another one.

OK, i'm going to heavily lobby for Le Meridien, mainly because that was our first choice when we booked our honeymoon last year. since it wasn't all-inclusive we decided against it. i wanted our first trip to Cancun to be all-inclusive so we didn't have to worry about finding places to go out to eat. plus the free booze just can't be beat.

I've heard really good reviews on Le Meridien, but that place could get expensive quickly. I'd much rather go with a villa and make my own food half the time or find somewhere all inclusive for drinks. There was something comforting about never needing anything more than a room key, and you could order top shelf for every drink if they had it.
