I have no stake in this place, so don't tell me to buy an ad. I'm just telling you that they're very good--way better than Greek Fiesta.

Just try it. Then you'll come back here and thank me--I mean, you probably won't actually thank me but you'll think about it.

I'm a fan of Nur Deli myself. Probably because I can buy my weight in olives and halva while I'm there.

^x5 (1) My post wasn't addressed at anyone specifically, and (2) I'm not mad--U MAD?!

^^^^ Just try it. I don't want them to go out of business because I like their food (yes, I'm being selfish, in a way--but you'll get the delicious food if you go there). They don't get a lot of traffic--if you've ever been to the Swift Creek Shopping Center (where Food Lion is at Tryon and Jone Franklin), you know that it's kind of dead over there.

^ Right here:

I had the chicken gyro and it was horrible. I wouldnt go back in to give anything else on the menu a second chance.

This was as of last Saturday.

^^ Seems unlikely. I just had the chicken gyro there yesterday and it was awesome. I went back for a lamb and beef gyro today.

Everything there is fresh and homemade.

^ Okay.

And unlike Greek Fiesta, Party In A Pita has this kind of gyro meat:

Check tomorrow's issue of the Independent Weekly. There will be several in there for Party in a Pita. Inside info, yo.

btw, this place really is delicious. Good gyro's, great tabouleh. All homemade by traditional Lebanese owners.

I've probably had 5-6 chicken gyros from random places in NC. This was by far the worst. Like I said...it was so bad I wont go back to try anything else.

The sales slip (LOL I FOUND IT) says :

Party In A Pita
1208 Kent Road
Raleigh NC 27606
(919) 233-7008

Different phone number, and address then listed.

[Edited on September 29, 2009 at 5:47 PM. Reason : sorry had spelled kent incorrectly]

There's a restaurant on Kent Road?

Oh, I guess the Food Lion strip mall might use Kent Road for their addresses.
