looked like in the video they were in a standoff at some business

there were quite a few cops, maybe like 10 behind cars and all gazed on some business...over by Beryl Rd/Pylon RD, pretty sure it was Pylon

I work two doors down from the substation.

We've been watching SWAT and a bunch of cops running around.

I asked people walking away what was going on and they said somebody walked into their office with a gun and told them to get out.

They just evacuated those offices closest to Blue Ridge and the Greg Poole Caterpillar in Pylon.

Just talked to a guy who works in the old Nitronix space next to Hilti Tools - apparently somebody came up to the police station, fired a shot, and then drove off and went into NCSU's ComTech office and told everybody to get out.

According to this guy the police are currently in negotiations with this guy.
