I've actually really had one that had both in there (as well as sharp cheddar and some pepperjack)- it was amazing... you could eat it straight (no chips or anything)it was one of my old roomies recipes and I never got it from him so I couldn't tell you the amount though- sorry [Edited on October 3, 2009 at 2:56 PM. But for the Velveeta fans, I offer my Hashbrown Casserole recipe:2 cups sour cream1 can (10 3/4 oz) of Cream of Mushroom Soupdash of pepper2 cups Velveeta cheese, shredded. (shredding it is hard as shit, so try to find it in the bag)1/2 cup chopped onions3/4 tablespoon salt1/4 tablespoon pepper2 lbs frozen hashbrownsIn a large bowl, combine sour cream, soup, pepper, cheese, onions, salt and pepper. Gently stir in potatoes. Spoon mixture into greased slow cooker (i use Pam spray). Cover and cook on high for 1.5 hours. Turn to low and cook an additional 2.5 hours. This shit is the BOMB. I usually make it for office potlucks at Thanksgiving.
