Makes me a sad panda. Was supposed to work night shift but got called in to day shift instead. I just got home from work (been there since before 5am) and haven't slept since 1pm yesterday.

Also got my water bill today... says I used 5500 gallons last month (my cumulative usage since I moved here 10 months ago is approximately 4500 gallons). Yeah, I used a year's worth of water in a month, riiight. And yes, I checked the meter for an indication of water flowing into oblivion... no discernible change since I've been home, but it's only accurate to 10 gallons.

Your sympathy, give it to me.

Night teedub.

the past year of my life has really put stress and stressful situations (well those i THOUGHT were stressful) in perspective

it has also made me a lot less sympathetic for people. i feel bad so i'll say i'm sorry. but i don't really mean it

I've been asked to perform alchemy at work for the past 2 weeks.

I have shit and I must turn it into gold. It's not gonna happen.

I'm getting stressed because it's hard convincing my higher ups that I really shouldn't be tasked with this given that I cannot base any of the numbers or calculations on any solid numbers or information whatsoever. I'm not comfortable telling them to spend millions of dollars based on the gumption of some folks who we don't trust all that well.

If I am tasked with doing the same thing this week (give it another shot and go do blahblahblah again) then my hair may just go gray out of spite.

But yeah, seriously, are you working eighty hour weeks? Salaried?

if hes working 80 hour weeks then of course hes salaried, no where would pay you 2.5 times your weekly pay in one week

80 hour weeks aren't typical. Both Brunswick units had been shut down for like 10 days and starting up 2 reactors at the same time is a pain in the ass. On the plus side, I'm off for the rest of the week.
