At lunch I made a point to the people I was eating with, noting how it was interesting that all three Pittsburgh pro teams have the same color scheme, and wondered if any other cities had similar cohesion.

So the guy at the table next to us hears me and chimes in "Well, UNC Tarheels, duh"

We of course thought he was joking, and laughed it off, but he was dead serious. He couldn't seem to grasp the fact that every college shares team colors while having three independently owned and operated teams in the same city sharing the same colors is much rarer.

We went back and forth for the better part of 20 minutes. It was a drunken bar argument without the booze, and if it wasn't for his three construction buddies beside him, I would have thought about thinking about smacking him.

Like George Carlin said, think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.

Two people in my class today got into an argument on the ASPCA is such a horrible thing and people should give money to kids in Africa instead of money to save animals.

They started yelling at each other in the middle of class.
