Here is Lee Sartain's NBC interview video:He talks mostly about economic development & transit. Transitioning effectively from a small/medium sized city into the larger city we are growing to be. Public transit. Expanding bus access with increased frequency & more benches & shelters, & light rail. Support new & small businesses, especially downtown. Have job development targeted towards creating jobs that match the kind of skills our universities are putting out, specifically he mentioned engineers & textile folks. And he went to NCSU.http://www.indyweek.com/gyrobase/Content?oid=oid%3A401756Here are the Indy Endorsements:

Why don't we just make the richest dude in America king. He can stay king until he dies or someone else becomes more rich. That way we don't have to keep voting every year.
10/6/2009 2:35:52 PM
that guy looks really familiar. i must have run across him while i was doing college dems stuff
10/6/2009 2:36:24 PM
If voting could change anythingit would be illegal, of course
10/6/2009 2:36:25 PM
yeah like weed.amirite?
10/6/2009 2:40:48 PM
^^not necessarily so on the municipal level. In Winston in the past month or two a college student beat a 16 year incumbent solely on the force of student voter turnout.
10/6/2009 2:45:40 PM
You are so full of shit, supplanter. Are you trolling?
10/6/2009 2:46:34 PM

10/6/2009 2:47:29 PM
I didn't even know there was a vote today. I didn't see any rappers telling me who to vote for. I feel like the entertainment industry has failed us all.

10/6/2009 2:55:35 PM

^^ and did the guy they voted for accomplish anything for those that voted for him?(thats a real question, If he did it would mean I could finally stop being cynical toward voting and politics . . . . . well, maybe)the students votes made a difference, they were 400/700 of the total decision, the students' voice was heard through voting.but each individual was just 1/700th of the final decision, thats not really having your voice heard, IMOas a group they made a difference, but taken as individual votes they made little difference in the outcome[Edited on October 6, 2009 at 3:14 PM. Reason : im not even sure this is making sense right now]
