I want in on the percocet partay plz.
10/14/2009 9:12:47 PM
Percocet is a wonderful painkiller. I used to take it daily for my chronic pain, but had to stop taking it because of the tylenol in it (dangerous to have too much b/c of the effects on your liver). Now, I take just oxycodone.
10/14/2009 10:19:52 PM
i'll trade you whatever bullshit my doctor gave me. it's not working, my leg hurts like a bitch...
10/14/2009 10:25:10 PM
^What did your dr. give you? And What happened to your leg? Some docs are really stingy about what painkiller in particular they prescribe. I used to hate that. Oxycodone is what works best for my pain issues.

i have a disc out in my back, pinching my sciatic nerve so my butt hurts and it runs down my leg sometimes.after like 3 months of steroids and stuff, they gave me tramadol.. but i think the advil worked better
10/14/2009 10:29:35 PM
10/14/2009 10:30:27 PM
Oh, i am so sorry to hear about your problem. I fuckin' hate Tramadol...I seriously feel like it was as effective as popping a tylenol. That shit isn't even a controlled substance either...at least, I don't think it is in NC (but don't hold me to that).
10/14/2009 10:31:06 PM
I don't think I have Percocet namebrand stuff. Its some generic stuff, but has the same stuff in it. Prescription was for percocet though, damn you student health
10/14/2009 10:35:56 PM
Yeah Tramadol is no good. Tell your doctor it isn't working and they should bump you up to Percocet or Vicodin.[Edited on October 14, 2009 at 10:36 PM. Reason : ^ Oxycodone is oxycodone, generic or not.]
10/14/2009 10:36:01 PM
If someone is in extreme pain, Percocet would be the better choice, over Vicodin.
10/14/2009 10:39:50 PM
lol @ all the druggies in this thread.
10/14/2009 10:40:51 PM

10/15/2009 12:10:46 AM
what's the difference between percocet, vicodin, oxycodone, and hydrocodone?
10/15/2009 12:19:24 AM
Percocet: contains oxycodone and tylenol (acetaminophen)Vicodin: contains hydrocodone and tylenol (acetaminophen)

^You have some nerve trying to call me an addict. I go to a PAIN SPECIALIST for my pain. When I first took Ultram/Tramadol, I had only taken Percocet several times before due to wisdom teeth extraction. I have a chronic pain illness that hasn't responded well to many treatments due to the severity of the pain. When I went to this pain specialist, I had never in my life been on Oxycontin, which is a time-released form of oxycodone, and it has worked wonders for my pain. I highly doubt this is the only Pain specialist/clinic that prescribes Oxycontin for my condition. So, quit acting like a smart ass know-it-all, get off your high horse, and don't assess my case based on very little facts.
10/15/2009 7:56:51 AM
^^Well... I found this:http://www.tramadoladdiction.net/Which makes me think that its not the benign drug you describe.^ Doesn't really matter WHY you take oxycontin... It is highly addictive, so if you've been taking it for a while now, then you can pretty much write yourself off as an addict at this point. Now, whether or not you're an addict for a "good reason" or not doesn't really matter to me. I'm not going to argue with you about your "pain"[Edited on October 15, 2009 at 8:01 AM. Reason : s]
10/15/2009 7:58:59 AM
i know what the fuck a PAIN SPECIALIST is. you can sit there all day and tell me shit that i already know about pills, but the fact remains that you are a junky. you're the one on the high horse, at least most junkies admit their addiction.i guarantee you that if you are seeing a "pain doc" and are on oxycontin daily, and have been for some time, then you are addicted, and you are in for a rude rude rude awakening when you can't get it any more. that's all the facts i needgo ahead and prove me wrong and stop taking it for 2 weeks.^ people take ultram in high doses when its the only thing they can get their hands on. its not so much that it gets them high, more that super high doses can kill off some of the withdrawal symptoms that come with long-term opiate abuse]
10/15/2009 8:02:23 AM
but why would she? she is in "paaaaain"it hurts so bad if she stops taking it
10/15/2009 8:03:33 AM
You are telling me it is highly addictive, as if I did not know this, or my doctors. I have been through the absolute hell for over a year now trying to deal with my physical pain, and it took months to get it diagnosed. Label it whatever you choose, but I take the pills as prescribed and do not go over my limits. I have only been on Oxycontin itself for 2 months, but have taken Percocet/oxycodone for over a year on and off. That being said, I don't think anyone has the right to sit here and judge or label me based on very little information that I've given. I feel no need to sit here and tell you my health problems.
10/15/2009 8:05:13 AM
On the contrary, with the little information you've given us, you've painted yourself as a classic addict in denial. This gives us full authority to judge you for what you are.[Edited on October 15, 2009 at 8:08 AM.
