i always used to piss off a bunch of wives when i worked at lowes foods... their husbands would come in to get groceries, and every now and then we'd run this promotion where you could spend 1,000 points to get $1 off... some of these people had like 131,000 points.

you can use your points to get gift certificates to merchants like Starbucks, Panera, Amazon etc

Just so you get an idea...I had 6,000 points on my card and got a $5 starbucks gift card.

My husband had 58,000 and got a $10 Starbucks card, a $10 Panera card and a $25 Amazon gift certifcate.

So basically if you have less than 5,000 points, don't even bother going to that site.
