heh, so i have adium set up as my facebook IM client, and I always have people asking me why I spend so much time on facebook.

I'm getting tired of explaining that I probably only go to the actual site a couple of times a week, and am just logged into the chat client. Most (non-technical) people can't seem to reconcile that the two are separate entities.

Loaded palringo last night and it worked but the user interface was horrible, i mean horrible.

loaded im+ and it works awesome.......but its only a 7 day trial then its $39.99

I've been using digsby on Windows. Has aim, gchat, facebook, myspace, twitter, etc.

Not really a decent app with facebook chat for blackberry. Instango is good for aim and gchat though.

i hate chat for the most part. a quick text or email works just fine. (especially since I get both instantly on my blackberry.)

i hate how if you have multiple tabs open and you're trying to type something in one and you get a message on facebook chat it won't enter any text until you click back over to facebook.

so i'm constantly getting messages from people that i don't really want to talk to


the auto-reply throws them off
