well, they have to do something about a non-native species with no natural predators that breeds like rabbits. it's not like they're tossing them in the boiler while they're alive, so i say good for them.

How much heat does a burning rabbit generate?I would think it better to make them into stew and furs than burning them for fuel.

It does seem like meat and fur would be a better use. There's lots of things you can burn that you can't eat.
