Buy one get TWO free on all sportcoats, pants, outerwear, sweaters, and sportshirts from now through Wednesday.

Sure, it's lame clothing, but it's a good time to stock up on that business formal/wedding/event wear that we all need from time to time. And that's an incredible deal.

Its an American company

If you're wearing American "business formal/wedding/event wear", then you're doing it wrong

That's interesting, I thought you would approve of this message Slave, considering how you always talk about how poorly people dress at work.

Nothing like being a dress clothes snob. If you look good in your clothes, then you've made your point.

You probably think Ralph Lauren makes good suits because they make good jeans and polo shirts

This is akin to thinking McDonalds makes good steaks because they make good hamburgers and chicken nuggets

Its a whole different ballgame, and the discerning eye will be able to spot the difference from a mile away

I'm not trying to sound like Patrick Bateman here, but its hard to take most people seriously here when probably 2/3 of them have a similar daily dress code to this lady

buy one get two free would almost make up for the hundreds of dollars I'd spend getting their clothes altered to fit correctly.

I need a new jacket. Theirs are ass-expensive for what I need.

I wouldn't mind paying these prices if the clothes were actually made in the US.

there is nothing wrong with it

it is not a 3000 dollar custom suit, but it is also not a 99 dollar suit. You take it to the right tailor, and it looks fine, and they last. And their shirts, ties, and other stuff is just fine as well

just a bunch of hating going on here

Personally, I can't stand how over-padded their shoulders are.

With my current job I really only need one suit and I got a really nice Brooks Brothers one half off, but if I needed multiple I'd have to put up with Mens Warehouse or Jos. A. Bank.

On the other hand, I don't mind buying slacks or shirts from them. The marginal difference between one shirt and another is far less than one suit and another or one tie and another.

I find their clothes to be cut for people with serious guts, especially the shirts. So, its more for old people

I had a suit from there once, the old grandpa insisted I get one from there when I was like 19. The guy insisted he could trim it up to make it fit right. I seriously look like MC Hammer in the suit despite the fact im 30 pounds heavier than I was when I got it. Pants are huge. Monster shoulder pads. Loose and saggy. Looks very sloppy.

I've never shopped at this store a day in my life.

And it looks like the shit is overpriced to begin with, hence, why they can afford to sell you shit at buy 1 get 2 free.

I could be wrong, but I wouldn't make special efforts to get over to the mall because of this sale...

They have pants that are like $50, so I don't see why everyone is only focusing on the $700 camel hair bomber jackets.

it's good enough for stock stuff at least.

best bang for your buck is a hong kong tailor, custom made suit to fit you exactly, and cheap

Their wrinkle free shirts really are wrinkle free as a motherfucker. Like, you can wash them and forget they're in the dryer for at least three days and then take them out and those fuckers still won't have nary a wrinkle.

I'm on their mailing list.

They do this shit every month. Nothing to blink twice at. There's always some "amazing deal" going on.

I have ~6 Jos A. Bank suits. A Black, Blue, Blue Pinstripe, Tan, Dark Grey, and Light Grey. Their "stay cool" suits are fantastic in the summers, or if you're on your feet all day.

I will say that their stock suits have pants that are WAY too big for the chest size. I wear a 54L jacket, with a 40 waist... their 54L suits come with size 48 waists... so no alterations in the world can save it. This is why Suit Separates are a godsend.

I'm not a Brooks Brothers fan.

^^every place does that. I wear a 60 jacket and a 36-38 waist, so buying coats and pants individually is a given for me.
