my mom lives there, I visit whenever I can which winds up being every couple months...beautiful country, i always leave totally refreshed but i'm not sure i could live there

I graduated from Alleghany in 02.

Can't remember if E or N Surry was in our conference, been too long and they have re-aligned since then. Mt Airy was.

MA was always where I felt the rivalry. City vs County schools and all. And the city paper always trashing us in favor of the Bears of Mt Airy High. But now I just look back on it and lol at the idea of Mt Airy being a "city school" as if Mt Airy were even a city (not that I dislike the town or anything, I'm just saying)

i think mt airy won the state 1A football championship last year.

i followed it pretty close because my highschool 1A Jones Senior almost made it to the state finals. wouldn't have mattered though, because i think mt airy blew the team that beat Jones out of the water. then again, i could have all that wrong...its been a while.
