what realistic salary for that job would make you ignore your dislike for it and continue working?

apparently its .90x - Cwherex = my current the salary i was hired at and C = some unknown constant

i was pretty unhappy with my most recent job for a long while, but i was making around $50k by the time i left. i'd say that if i'm making enough to be really happy outside of my job, i'll be ok for the time being, and just look for another job anyway.
10/24/2009 9:53:32 PM
depends if another job is available that i'd be happier with..
10/24/2009 9:54:30 PM
realistically i should be making about twice what i am now

If this job gave raises I'd probably be happier. But motherfuckers don't
10/24/2009 10:22:21 PM
the only way i've gotten raises is by changing jobs. in fact, at every job i was making less than my starting salary when i quit. looks like this one is keeping the trend alive. that being said, i'm now making 1.8 times what i was making at my first job out of college (graduated in 2000) and have always left on my on accord, surviving numerous downsizings (knock on wood). so i must be doing something right, but apparently suck at picking places to work at.
