2) I'm not fucking supporting those faggotass professor/publisher circlejerks. It's pretty reasonable to assume there have been no earth-shattering revolutions in interpersonal communications in the past year three years ( ) or so...never mind ones that'd be covered in a freshman, bullshit class.

Yeah that class was really easy, you can probably do just fine without it. I don't think I have it anymore, but I can look and see if I have the book or some notes around here somewhere.
