i would think since it's a seasonal beer they're gonna charge more for a keg of it no matter where you go. we get all our kegs from Total Wine, so try calling them?[Edited on October 27, 2009 at 1:17 PM. Reason : .]

total wine said their distributor was out and that they won't have any more until next year...which sucks, because i have a $35 gift card it also sounds retarded...i would think carolina is still brewing, but maybe not...i might call another total wine and see what they say
10/27/2009 1:19:10 PM
probably a pretty stupid idea to get a keg of pumpkin shitjust mix canned pumpkin and mix it into busch lighti just saved you 50 dollars

i'd never get a keg of pumpkin ale...after 1 or 2 of those, i can't drink anymore. i will be buying a 6pk for halloween though.[Edited on October 27, 2009 at 1:20 PM. Reason : .]

I need to find somewhere that has this in bottles. Whole Foods?
10/27/2009 1:20:41 PM
Whole Foods is a good start, but I'd check Lowe's Foods or HT first, because you'll pay at least $2 more for a 6pk at Whole Foods. those damn hippies mark up everything
10/27/2009 1:21:22 PM
lol@BOD^^true^let me know where you find it [Edited on October 27, 2009 at 1:21 PM. Reason : i'm not fixing my carots. figure it out]

ah, the total wine at north hills said she called her distributor and was able to get 3 sixth barrels (so the total wine at cary is crappy, since they use the same distributor)...$55 after tax and i get to use my card
10/27/2009 2:17:48 PM
don't forget, total wine charges you to rent that other "stuff" you need for a keg which comes to another $30 or so. or is that including the "stuff"?
10/27/2009 2:19:35 PM
i've already got a pump and tap, so i should be good
10/27/2009 2:23:25 PM
$55 is steep? Really?
10/27/2009 2:26:50 PM
^ for a sixth (not a pony)? yeahas noted, it's probably not really very high for a seasonal, but $1+ per 12oz is pretty steep, in general[Edited on October 27, 2009 at 2:40 PM. Reason : .]
10/27/2009 2:28:21 PM
oh, i didn't read that part. yeah i guess it is.
10/27/2009 2:29:10 PM
yeh, $55 is steep for a 1/6th keg... but you are getting seasonal premium.Typical U.S. kegs:sixth barrel = 1/6th barrelpony = 1/4 barrelkeg = 1/2 barrel
