I'm kind of trying to lean my schedule towards allowing an ENG 388 of mine to be the section taught by John Kessel, because I know of his namesake and it seems like he'd be cool to have teaching the subject. It seems also like he rarely does the undergrad creative writing classes, but I might be wrong.

Anyone taken a class with him? He's our resident writer or sorts, if you didn't realize. I'm trying to decide if it's worth squaring off that class or if I should just take it with Bateman.

Kessel is awesome.

I took that class with him couple years ago, and I loved it. He (obviously) really knows his stuff, and it's just a fascinating class.

So, it's win-win either way.

I'm still going to try and get into Kessel's class first choice.

Speaking of Fiction Writing, how the hell am I supposed to print 25 15-page long stories? Should I go to like Kinkos or some bullshit?

Dr. Kessel is one of the most accomplished people at this university. He's an largely unsung star.
