on these shows I see the cops doin all this stuff and contacting cellphone to figure out cellphone owners


what is wrong with calling up numbers on the phone and asking who the number belongs to and then verifying it?

maybe its not legal to search through the contact list or something, it just perplexes me and i know there are tdub police on here

Why risk people lying to tipping off others to the progress of an investigation when you can get billing and usage information from an unbiased source?
