We used to destroy my neighborhood in Rocky Mount. It looked like a warzone for at least a week after Halloween. I sure hope none of the kids around here do that shit.

We usually stuck with the oldies but goodies; mailbox baseball, eggs and TP and dogshit doorsteps

Probably stopped about 4 or 5 years back

if i caught kids doing anything to my house or property, i'd happily call the cops on them and get them into trouble

yeah, i hate it when people get pissy when stupid kids trash their stuff

a group of us TP'd the crap out of our high school senior year...and spent the next day cleaning it up...totally worth it and no one got into trouble

i'm okay with those kinds of pranks...busting a mailbox or breaking windows are much less harmless and cost me time and money...and knowing that the kids think like you, slave, makes me realize that i would DEFINITELY press charges

Good luck...retarded kids get caught doing pranks in high school.

We planned our shit like world-class bank robbers when I use to do this. Escape routes...meet-up points if we got separated (which happened, because we all had different escape routes)....etc. I actually kind of miss that.

meh, i'm not worried about it, anyway...the kids in my neighborhood are all pretty awesome and i give them candy sometimes when they're walking down the street from being dropped off by the bus (and no, i'm not the creepy guy who gives kids candy...i know all the parents and they know me)...i even let the little buggers play in my woods (as opposed to being the grumpy guy sitting on his back porch yelling for kids to get off his lawn, i mean)

i suppose some turds could stop by from another neighborhood, but i don't think that would happen (especially on halloween night when there's going to be a bunch of people there)

Mischief night (as it was called in NJ) or Devil's night (whatever you want to call it) is the night BEFORE Halloween.

I never used a random date. Actually never heard of "Mischief Night." We did shit like this several times a month.

But that's what happens when you grow up in a small-ass town. You make up shit to entertain you...and usually that stuff wasn't very "moral."

When I was in high school we didn't need one night to do shit like that, we did it probably every weekend. Roll a house, set off fire crackers in someone's drive way in the middle of the night, steal traffic cones. It was so fun when we were in high school. I look back at it now and realize we could have gotten into a lot of trouble. Gotta love the feeling of nothing bad will ever happen.
