maybe mine was one of the genetically mutilated apples that resulted in more sourness. I used to really like them. I felt the same was as ^. maybe I'll pick some up at the farmer's market soon and try those (food lion fruit sucks anyways )

half a granny smith apple sliced
sourdough bread
brie cheese
3 slices of thick cut applewood smoked bacon
grey poupon mustard

toast 2 slices of sourdough bread
put mustard on one slice
apples on top of mustard
bacon on top of apples
brie on top of bacon

let the sandwich sit for a min so the heat of the bacon and toast melt the brie cheese
