i dunno

my cousin told me a possibly bullshit story that, if true, would make it a contender. Apparently just before the first round started (when they are standing face to face attempting to win the fight by making the meanest face as close to each other as possible), one dude just puckered up and kissed the other guy square on the lips, then the second guy just hauled off and knocked him cold unconscious. i want to see that if it exists. supposedly MMA. maybe not UFC

heath herring and yosihiro nakao in K1 it wasnt MMA but both fighters fought in MMA

yea thats true, the fight was declared a no contest

^^^most traditional Thai fighters and those that fight under that influence are actually not very adept with their hands relative to their elbows, kicks, and knees

the hands are more used for set ups to elbows knees and kicks than they are used to end fights, its more second nature for that guy to throw a knee when the opponent is hurt than it is to finish with his fists

plus in that close of a range he would have had to take a step back and offline to throw accurate punches since the guy was bouncing off the ropes, whereas since the knee is available he can get much mor power from a shorter radius from opponent because the force is going vertical which is more distance traveled to gain more power...so where he might have had to land a punch within 8 inches from his opponent he can still be 8 inches away from the opponent but can make his knee travel 2 feet and gaining power over that distance

i saw one where the guy got knocked out then started having seizures. it was scary. i felt really bad for the guy, so did the guy who knocked him out.
