i dont like the winter, i hate the cold weather!!!

Why I hate winter:

The sun beaming in my window at 7AM, but only on my days off.

And along with that, having it be dark when I get off work.

Using my fireplace is fun, it makes me feel like I'm in the old world, smoking my pipe and reading by candlelight, even though I don't smoke or read by the fireplace. I also like snow and the way trees look in the dead of winter. Also my mom cooks a lot more stews and awesome food during the winter that I get to eat when I visit, ftw. The holidays too.

Yeah, it is kinda nice to be able to put on a wrinkly shirt and then throw a sweater on top of it. I actually have a few shirts that I think are hideous by themselves, but I like the way the collar looks sticking out of a sweater.

I love winter. The cold crisp air, the holidays, the skiing, the occasional threat (and accumulation) of snow.

It's all good. and it's also just under 2 months away, so don't get carried away just yet.

I like winter because:
it's a good excuse for more snuggling
my mama and grandma go crazy with the baking
I like the feel of cold sand (I go to the beach whenever I visit home during the winter)
I get to see lots of family (holidays)
I can use all my cute scarves. (I realize this is a current trend and was during the summer as well, but I don't see the appeal of wearing something that would cause my neck to incubate in hot ass weather.)
