the water makes the most fantastic blanket. At every large gust of I almost instinctively winced, waiting for the cold that the rush of wind would bring but the water has no corners for the wind to blow up or threads to blow through, it says perfectly warm and level. At the moment there is much movement outside, without the jets on the water is so static and it seems to contrast whats going on around it. Im surprised at how noticeable the shapes of different trees and leaves look when all you can see is their outline, backlit by the faint orangish city streetlight sky. It was perfect.

^^^^I had a hot tub on the deck (overlooking the Puget Sound) and a sauna in the basement for the 13 months that I lived in WA.

Of course, I lived there with a couple of dude-friends, and thankfully neither of them had any affinity for naked hot-tubbing.
