I agree. Mine hasn't worked very well in a while, but I can't figure out what is actually wrong with it.

Yeah the brush on mine stopped rotating I think the belt broke, but so far I've been too lazy to open the bitch up and investigate.

In the meantime the dog hair has been piling up...

Mine gets a clump of crap stuck in the same place in the hose every time. So I always take it out, then it kinda works a little, then it breaks again. There's probably something deeper wrong with it, but I haven't figured out what.

Fer fuck's sake Patty me boy...t'ain't that hard, ye lazy barstid!

I've only swapped out the beater bar drive belt on my two vacs about a dozen times. They tend to smoke when they grab a corner of a throw rug and stop cold.

i have a shark navigator (but in blue)...my mom has a dyson, and i'd say they're very comparable for moderate to heavy use (the shark is lighter, but i don't think it's as powerful as the dyson)

Dammit guys I don't want to buy another vacuum cleaner!

Besides, the detachable hose is still great at cleaning out the inside of my cars.
