I've had this group recommended to me by paerabol. Name some of their better/more popular stuff that I should check out.

I really only like the older GD stuff...specially with pigpen. I have grown tired of listening to them on cds/mp3, but would totally go to a show in raleigh.

Give me pm next time they are coming around so i can hang, drink, and sing.

what songs did they play. Do they play there shit so it sounds like the studio recordings, or do they throw some "live" parts into it?

cosmic charlie is good in that their jams are a bit more high energy than the actual dead yet retain that same jazzy sound

dso is good in that they do a great job of "recreating" an actual dead show

[Edited on November 13, 2009 at 11:55 AM. Reason : ^both bands do extended improvs]
