I once estimated the error rate of chewing (biting your tongue).

I got about 1 in 100,000 chews.

how about leaving your car running, in a handicapped spot with the windshield wipers on, and hitting the lock button on the door before walking to the ATM

My car has a happy little feature that prevents me from locking the doors when the key is in the ignition. That's saved me a few times.

Locking yourself out of the house is not a statistical inevitability and it's fucking stupid to suggest otherwise.

i suggest you put a spare somewhere outside that no one else would ever think to even check.

a hide-a-key rock is not the same thing though as it is very obvious and you will get robbed.

I make mistakes, I'm just curious how this happens. Most exterior doors on homes don't lock themselves when you close them. You can lock a car door from the inside, then close it and be locked out, but every place I've ever lived you needed the key to lock the door from the outside.

the first year or 2 that i lived at u-woods, you had a chuck knob lock and a deadbolt

i locked myself out via knob a few times, but my VIC card got me right back in

i used a AAA card to get into TDs across the street dailyto play COD:4 while I was unemployed 2 years ago. I'm sure your locks are similar if you need assistance.

i, too, have been saved in the past by my vic card.

my new place only has a deadbolt though, so i can't lock it unless i already have the key

I hope you get in soon. I have some magazine holders on my porch at the other end of Kaplan if that helps in any way.

if you had a nice car it wouldn't have locked with the car running...

go ahead and admit you hit that manual lock on the way out of the car
