I thought it was going to be a fancy new weight training belt.Anyway, I could never spend so much on a belt. It'd always be covered by my shirt. I like my current belt though, it has a bottle opener on the back
11/14/2009 4:46:48 PM
that must look really weird to people when you stick a bottle up your butt like that at parties and such
11/14/2009 4:49:25 PM
Its the back of the buckle, haha. Still gets the weird responses anyway
11/14/2009 4:56:51 PM
YOU BETTER HAVE GOTTEN THE RED, WHITE, AND BLUE ONE
11/14/2009 6:05:26 PM
that thing is ugly
11/14/2009 6:12:22 PM
I've heard arguments that lifting with a belt results in a weak core . . . thoughts?
11/14/2009 6:19:02 PM
I never really got the point of using one, but I can see how it would reduce how much your core muscles are used. I know its for protection, but don't understand what exactly it does.I'd like to get a belt for doing weighted dips and pullups though
11/14/2009 6:20:28 PM
Think I am misunderstanding the use of the belt. :Runs out of thread!:[Edited on November 14, 2009 at 6:24 PM. Reason : I thought it was a belt for the car at first, too, jbaz.]]
11/14/2009 6:24:09 PM
It really depends on what you are going to be using it for. I generally agree w/ that notion, with the exception of maxing out. Am I going to wear on the majority of the time? No. This belt will be for use in "raw" powerlifting meets. As I will be competing w/ a belt, I will be training at maximal loads with one. If I weren't competing, would I buy one? No. Does the use of a belt at maximal load make more core weaker?
11/14/2009 6:26:33 PM
So wait, it is a weight lifting belt? I feel stupid
11/14/2009 6:37:26 PM
you buy a belt...then what? You have this sudden urge to come home and write about it on tww?dumbass
11/14/2009 6:39:47 PM
You shoulda gone to TJ MAXXX. I once got a MSRP $125 Polo Ralph Lauren belt there for only $19.99.
11/14/2009 6:41:11 PM
THE PETTERyes... it's a lever belt...they are generally prefered to a traditional buckled weightlifting belt, and have a smaller break in time, too.[Edited on November 14, 2009 at 6:42 PM. Reason : the ones w/ the bigger back are useless shit]
11/14/2009 6:41:18 PM
Ansonian, I didn't go out to buy it, as Inzer is not generally sold in stores. I ordered it from the website...
