So me and my friends are left PB's last night and called a cab to pick us up and take us to IHOP. A black guy wearing a white cowboy hat, white jacket and white pants in a station wagon picks us up. Awesome. He proceeds to head down Hillsborough. Maybe a bit too fast for Construction-Era Hillsborough, but not too reckless. We had a green light at the intersection of Hillsborough and Gardner St. I'm texting someone in the back seat and suddenly hear a giant thud sound with the driver saying something along the lines of holy shit.

The driver hit a girl crossing the street going 40 MPH. She's face-down in the middle of the road surrounded by her friends crying. Holy fuck. Cops and EMS come. They say she was alright, thankfully. She actually sat up before they came and was able to talk to her friends. The Cops talk to us about the whole thing and we end up walking to I love NY Pizza. Crazy shit. Did anyone else see or hear of this?

I saw a cop hit some dude in England going about 35 taking a right turn (which is like a left here) around an intersection.

She was driving one of those hondas that are designed to be safer for pedestrians or something, so it crushed the hood and windshield of the car but the dude that got hit jumped up immediately.
