purely subjective

given that their bosses probably give them a speech about costs, a lot might mean three

i always ask for a handful...it pays off when a big guy is working, but with girls, you still get about 3

Lol...Chic-Fil-A gave me two packets last week.
What am I going to do with two packets? That's like two waffle fries worth.

They actually have a chart on the drive-thru wall at the AV-Gorman Hardee's. I think it's something like. . .

"A couple" means two packets.

"A few" means three.

"A handful" means five.

Just tell them the exact number of packets you want.

Take the subjectivity out.

i hate this...it really drives me crazy. so the last couple months if i am getting something to go that, to me, is ketchup-centric like chickfila waffle fries and i'm not going home to eat it i usually go inside and order so i can get as much as i want. Sometimes i forget and then bam, 3 packs for a biggy fry WTF.

Typical scenario:

I pull up to pay and while handing over the money I say "Could I get some ketchup, please?"
Some is thrown in the bag and my card/change and receipt is handed to me. Regardless of how many packets are tossed in the bag, I always ask for more before the bag is handed to me.

At places like Cookout, Sonic, and Chargrill, I always stare down the cashier/server until I get the extra ketchup I need.

For Chick Fil-A waffle fries, I mix mayo and ketchup together 1 to 1. But those damn things really do need a lot of condiment, be it ketchup or my mix.

I can't stand when I ask for a lot of salt and they give me two packs. Hell, I put three on a burger...and then there are the fries.

So...I ask for an assload or a shit-ton or "enough (insert condiment here) to kill a farm animal"...and they usually laugh and comply.

Cookout tried to charge me a quarter for a pack of ranch to put on my spicy chicken sandwich. I refused. Burger King charges 15c for more honey mustard, but the woman always gives it to me anyway.

The only thing good about Cookout is that they are always open when I'm awake. Other than that they fucking suck. Well, except for their shakes.

Buncha Jeebus message-on-the-bags no good shitbag bastards.

My BP is about 140/80

If I said "a lot" I'd be disappointed with anything less than 5.

Chick-Fil-A waffle fries, by the way, are quite good with honey mustard. I don't know why, usually I eat fries with ketchup or occasionally bbq sauce, but this just works for me.

i hoard extra ketchup packets in my car whenever i receive a windfall from a drive thru angel. that way i never have to go berserk on a stingy bitch. i need at least 4 packets of ketchup per drive thru experience.

i  ketchup.
like freakishly so.

when i worked at popeyes and people asked for a lot of ketchup, i gave them a whole damn fistful

"a lot" means "a lot" and not "1 more than Scrooge McOwner dictates is normal"

And you people talking about CFA fries with this, that, and aunt mary's sauce: what the hell?

The only necessary condiment from any fast food chain is bojangles' honey mustard.

I hate being asked with the question "how many?". I mean it all depends. The surface area of this meal may be less or more than other meals which dictates how much ketchup coverage I need. Sometimes I may need 8-9. Other times I may need 10+. For this reason, I always ask for more than I need and keep the extra for a rainy day.

i dont know about the ketchup thing, but today i went to a mcdonalds with two drive through ordering things, but one after the other.

this bitch was at the first one, so i went around her to the second..in front of her.

she honked her horn at me and started yelling, so i stuck my head out the window and cut her a new one.

actually was the highlight of my day today

i'm glad to see someone has the same love for salt as myself.
people tend to give me flack about how much i use (i lick my finger and eat any remaining at the bottom of plates and stuff too) but my bp is about 90/60.

except when you add extra salt and load it with pepper.

'a lot' would mean 4+ to me. the only place that ever asks is chic-fil-a. every where else they just assume i drive around with a mini fridge of condiments.

i'm always amused when places have ketcup ON TAP!!
