i used to get strep a lot when i was a kid. i started gargling peroxide whenever i felt that first little twinge in the back of my throat and it would nip it in the bud.

dont know how i got it... must have been at work?

doc prescribed me amoxicillin today. feeling a little bit better than i did at lunch, but still have a 101 degree fever

i could ahve strep throat

but i don't know

because they just looked at me and said i had the flu and sent me on my way

i'm sure its the flu i'm just saying that yes i am second guessing their examining skills

kadwackle, your throat would be red if you had strep. doesn't take a doctor to diagnose that shit. my mom could look down my throat with a flashlight and tell it was strep.

i just wish they fake examined me

maybe i have mono

or meningitis

but the doctor said he just had the flu so i'm sure he knew what to look for

same here, I use warm water and salt though instead, usually works

I really should have gotten my tonsils removed ages ago

yes gargle and take tylenol

sometimes that throat spray will help

i used to get it all the time when i was little too - the worst part is the "short" test or whatever would always come back negative for me and then i'd be off to school and my mom would get a call that the long culture came back positive. it happened like EVERY time. which is weird.
