The past couple days I have been getting several calls at the office for a coworker of mine. The caller always has a thick Indian accent, and his English is pretty terrible. Sometimes it is 6 a day, and I could always tell they were some type of collections call or something. I just tell them what time he will be in, and I am done with it. Well today they called 3 times in an hour, so the last time I asked for a name and call-back number. The guy told me his name was Mack Dawson, and he gave me a number to call back. I asked the name of his company, and he hung up.

So, I decided to research the number. Turns out it is a scam out of India. They call you and tell you that they are a Debt Collection Agency known as ACS. They go on to inform you that you have defaulted on a payday loan, online loan, or some other loan. Then they state that they are suing you for the money if it isn't paid immediately. If the group doesn't reach you at home, they call you at work and threaten to tell your employer, thus getting you fired if you don't pay (not really sure why an employer would care who you owe money to, but that's what they do).

I have been fucking with these people all day, and DAMN it has been fun. I figured it might be a great idea for a thread! So, TWW, call these fuckers with creative shit and post the stories here. The number is 347-342-0492.

Here is another story on this scam. This shit is REALLY creepy. FUCK WITH THESE FUCKING FUCKS!

Well after asking me to confirm some unintelligible address and email address, which I happily confirmed, they informed me that there was some kind of lawsuit against me and how would I like to settle it. I told him "I'M GOING TO FIGHT THIS TO THE DEATH!" to which he told me that he had that recorded. I then told him "I'M GOING TO COME AFTER YOU, AND I WILL FIND YOU" then he hung up

Its funny, after I came up with the Andre Johnson name, I wish I had said my name was Jake Delhomme.

I wonder if someone like this was who called me a year or two ago. I had a consultation with a cosmetic dentist but never went back, so I only owed $75 for the consultation fee and paid it (with a check, which was cashed) that day.

Months later, I get a random "debt collection" call from some Indian guy telling me I owed $550 for the work I had some with Dr. Andreus. I ended up telling him what I wrote above, and he argued with me that I had work done. Finally I ended up screaming something along the lines of fuck off, I have proof I didn't get work done and I have proof my consultation check was cashed... He didn't like that very much. So I hung up, and he never called back.

I just got of the phone with them.

I told them I was Steve Austin.

I even told them I'd "kick his little ass if he showed up here next monday night"

And of course we had a dialogue that went something like this

"sir, you have a defaulted on a payday loan"
