11/24/2009 6:09:54 PM
the two listed in here or tommy's (mission valley 66)
11/24/2009 6:13:00 PM
message_section.aspx?section=13Jeepman (built his garage) zxappeal (got a handjob from him) and mission valley 66 (used to work there)i can vouch for all of the above
11/24/2009 6:49:11 PM
i took my old car to mv66 three times for the same problem and $700 later it was just as fucked up as it started out, so i can't really vouch for them...[Edited on November 24, 2009 at 6:52 PM. Reason : &c]
11/24/2009 6:51:50 PM
and zxappeal happens to be close to campus again.
11/24/2009 6:52:04 PM
I take my truck there all the time. And each time, the problem is solved and done cheaper than any other shop has ever quoted/charged.
11/24/2009 6:53:02 PM
I've had good results with MV66 or whatever it's called

^^^^^i find that very hard to believe sounds like one side of the story from someone who doesn't know what they're talking abouttommy bends over backwards for people, hell i have had a lot of situtions where something screws up while you're fixing another thing, and he will take care of it and eat the cost, even though most shops would charge the customer for it, hell i know he has lost money on some jobsan example i can think of off the top of my head, taking a tire off to patch it, one of the lug nuts was cross threaded from the last person that put it on, the stud broke off in the process of taking it off, and we pulled the hub and replaced the stud and lug nut for free even though he should have charged at least $100 in parts and labor for the two hours it took to fix[Edited on November 24, 2009 at 7:03 PM. Reason : and he is much cheaper/more honest than anyone else you will find]
11/24/2009 7:02:15 PM
how the fuck can i not know what i'm talking about if i experienced it, retard[Edited on November 24, 2009 at 7:07 PM. Reason : and he may be as honest as the day is long, but the car never got fixed--bottom line]
11/24/2009 7:06:13 PM
Another vote for Tommy's. Honest and reliable
11/24/2009 7:07:05 PM
^^ you still haven't stated what the problem was or what happened
11/24/2009 7:23:22 PM
it doesn't matter what the problem was
11/24/2009 7:25:16 PM
exactly, five good votes for tommy, and one person who has no idea what the fuck is going onhe probably tried explain it to you several times, but you know less about cars than a prepubescent girlhe takes a lot of time to explain shit very clearly, and that it a tall order considering all the asians/indians that come in there that cant speak a damn word of engrish
11/24/2009 7:29:59 PM
he tried to explain why my car was still broken after i paid him to fix it?
11/24/2009 7:32:13 PM
you still have not explained what the problem was or what happened
11/24/2009 7:32:55 PM
^^ it actually does matter what the problem is. If its a check engine light and needs to be diagnosed, some dont have access to a scan tool
11/24/2009 7:32:57 PM
i mean hell, a timing belt can break, seem fine after its fixed, but a valve is just slightly cracked or bent, and breaks 10k miles later, unless superman is working on your car, most of us dont have x-ray visiondo you expect the shop to cover that?
11/24/2009 7:34:38 PM
oh, no, he assured me all three times i had it towed there (in two weeks) that the problem had now been fixed[Edited on November 24, 2009 at 7:36 PM. Reason : @]
11/24/2009 7:35:28 PM
So what was the problem?
11/24/2009 7:36:02 PM
he has no idea, just making shit up
11/24/2009 7:36:21 PM
Maybe it's a Chrysler K car, and 3 other things broke for every one fixed.
11/24/2009 7:38:35 PM
^^actually, you're right, i don't know what the problem was b/c i got rid of the carfirst serendipitously accurate thing you've said...[Edited on November 24, 2009 at 7:39 PM. Reason : ^maybe]
11/24/2009 7:38:37 PM
^^ exactlywhat kind of car was it?its very possible there wwere several unrelated problems, but then again, since you have no idea and obviously didnt care to ask any questions, or listen, then it doesnt really matter
11/24/2009 7:44:48 PM
i know you're acting like a faggot because want to stick up for your friend, and i'm ok with that
11/24/2009 7:47:03 PM
no, you are apparently the only one that has ever had a problem there, what kind of car was it and when was this?
11/24/2009 7:47:49 PM
dodge colt gt~4 years ago
11/24/2009 7:51:33 PM
Nah, he's just being an educated devil's advocate...those of us in the know have run into this kind of situation...where the owner has no clue, wants an intermittent or hard to diagnose symptom to go away, or has just flat out neglected the car. The best mechanic in the world can't keep a huge hunk of shit in pristine shape for long.
11/24/2009 7:51:36 PM
what dan said. head meet nail
11/24/2009 7:53:13 PM
i have to say, one of the few times i agree with Ragged, but i will continue trolling the hell out of him in other threads
11/24/2009 7:55:40 PM
can't even describe the problem huh?
11/25/2009 10:13:11 AM
I took my car there for an oil change and they sold it. now I have no ride.im astraladvent and I approved this message
11/25/2009 10:30:38 AM
