That is non contact and non electric. I am looking for something that is cast iron with a metal plate on the bottom that will take the heat from a gas stove and a plate on top with holes so the grease can fall down the bottom pan (which I've read if you fill with some water will keep the grease from burning).

If you have any other ideas for cooking kabobs indoors with a gas stove I will be happy to hear them. I was thinking of putting a thin plate of brick or stone over the burner but this is not the best idea.
