If you have your baby at a hospital, you'll never look like that poor woman up there. They're fairly fastidious about keeping everything/one clean.

And I had a C-section, so I'm no help on the effects on the girlie parts.

The baby hasn't taken its first breath yet.

And yes, C-sections can cause the belly pooch just by the nature of the surgery. It cuts through muscle that has to knit back together. The weakness of the muscle can cause the belly to pooch, but you can exercise to prevent that from happening. It just depends on how dedicated you are to it and how much it matters to you after having children.
