12/7/2009 4:58:21 PM
i like the hellfire and brimstone preachers towards the appalachians
12/7/2009 4:59:22 PM
that wasnt plural at all. that, in fact, was a reason that you love XM
12/7/2009 5:00:45 PM
The interwebz has this too. And it's already paid for
12/7/2009 5:01:38 PM

12/7/2009 5:11:39 PM
Hoo Who?I invented radio Robin. Tell 'em Fred. I have XM, could care less about Howard and won't miss him one fucking bit when his contract is over. Bye!

12/7/2009 5:24:32 PM
12/7/2009 5:26:26 PM
Playboy radio or nascar talk. Or shade 45. That's all.
12/7/2009 5:26:52 PM
howard hasn't put any effort into that shit in yearsfuck him
12/7/2009 5:28:15 PM
yeah, forget the 6 million listeners he brought to Sirius
12/7/2009 5:28:47 PM
Ellis on the drive home everyday
12/7/2009 5:28:56 PM
why the fuck do i care how many suckers signed up for sirius only to discover he sucks now
12/7/2009 5:29:59 PM
hmmmm, i dunno. maybe because the money brought in by all those subscribers helps pay for all the commercial free music channels you enjoy, and helped pave the way for your beloved Jason Ellis
12/7/2009 5:32:20 PM
i don't listen to music channels
12/7/2009 5:33:16 PM
hmmmm, i dunno. maybe because the money brought in by all those subscribers helps pay for all the commercial free music channels you enjoy, and helped pave the way for your beloved Jason Ellis.and for the record, Ellis is a HUGE Stern mark
12/7/2009 5:34:20 PM
i don't carehoward stern's radio show sucks
12/7/2009 5:36:22 PM
and that's a matter of opinion. i originally signed up for Sirius for Howard, and got into the rest of it. That being said, Howard's show wasn't enough to keep me a customer as they continuously raised my rate every 6 months. So I canceled mine about a month ago, and I am just waiting for them to call me with some crazy cheap offer to come back. The same way they did the last time I quit. The point I am trying to make is that whether you like the Stern show or not, you can't deny the fact that he pretty much single handedly saved the failing satellite radio platform.
12/7/2009 5:40:00 PM
HIS RADIO SHOW SUCKSTHAT IS THE ONLY THING I KNOW AND THE ONLY FUCKING THING I CAN'T DENY
12/7/2009 5:41:10 PM
ok dude
12/7/2009 5:42:26 PM
12/7/2009 6:03:58 PM
I know you didn't seriously just drop Opie and Anthony up in this threadreally?
12/7/2009 6:05:16 PM
I really did.
12/7/2009 6:06:25 PM
i still think ellis is better than the other two hands down. O&A is a little more consistent than stern. The only reason stern is even entertaining anymore is because of artie lange.
12/7/2009 6:09:17 PM
jason ellis
12/7/2009 6:17:45 PM
Ellis is way better than O&A. He is arguably better than present day Stern for pure entertainment value, but Stern has way better interviews and is a way better interviewer.I like Ellis a lot
12/7/2009 6:19:17 PM
Ellis is good. I will give him props for having a high energy show which makes Howard, O&A, & R&F sound like NPR in comparison. Breuer is fucking great too. Howard used to be a great interviewer, but he's been just doing softball interviews lately. He has no heart in it anymore. Hampton's Howie is what Sirius listeners have. He doesn't have the drive to be the best anymore because he was at the top and took the big payday to become irrevelvant. Gone are the days of everybody talking about some crazy shit that happened that morning on Howard's show. I can't remember the last time I heard his name in the news, but even O&A were in the news like 3 times in the last month for shit going down on their show. Love them or hate them, but they have been getting more press than Howard or Ellis have. And sorry, but Howard ain't saving shit. His 6 million subs are just subsidizing his stupidly fucking huge paycheck. He is arguably killing satellite radio. I have been an XM sub since like 2001, and XM did just fine without him. In fact, Sirius never fucking beat XM for subscriber numbers, even until the merger. XM was better. The only 2 things Sirius had going for it were NFL & Howard. EVERYTHING ELSE on XM was far and away a better deal.If you wanted to be listening to Sirius, you should have just gotten a radio with a 6 month or 3 month sub on a card and don't set it to auto-renew. My brother got a Sirius Sportster or some shit and paid for a couple months online after I ran all the cables for him. He listened like 2 months and then gave it to me to fuck around with. We haven't paid shit on that thing since and I still turn it on every now and then and its got all the Sirius channels.[Edited on December 7, 2009 at 6:46 PM. Reason : ]

NFL and NASCAR alone made Sirius better imo, not that it matters now that they are the same company. But again, it's a matter of personal listening preference. To the talk and sports radio listener, Sirius was the better selection. At least the in regards to the programs i listened to
12/7/2009 6:48:10 PM
but to be honest im just fine with the 3 music stations i listen to on the regular radio along with clark howard and mike and mike in the am.
12/7/2009 6:59:18 PM
Mike and Mike PWN!as do Collen Cowherd and Jim Rome. I must admit, since I canceled Sirius I haven't missed it.but I will definitely sign back up when they offer me a better rate
12/7/2009 7:01:26 PM
Covino & RichThe LoftSirius XMUOutlaw Countrythose make up about 75% of my listening time
12/7/2009 7:28:38 PM
If Stern doesnt sign a new contract, Im canceling mine. The other radio personalities are blah.
