they're probably having her do "regular" jobs across america to show she's still somewhat normal. this will probably pay off in court for her when her and her husband battle for custody of the kids.

i doubt she will travel, she needs to stay in one place for the kids, plus i think she's either decided or not allowed to bring cameras into the house
so her only choice is to do a reality show at her job

i just don't see her settling anywhere and staying in one place. MAYBE if she got a job in NYC to host her own talk show or something of the like. from reports i've read, both parents are pretty absent from the kids' lives.

but then again, neither you or i know what goes on behind closed doors of their house or their lives. i'm just speculating based on what i've read.

There's plenty of jobs out there that pay for 8 kids. It wasn't that long ago that having 8 kids was a pretty common thing. You just have to live a frugal life. Not all of your kids gets their own DS, blah blah blah.

But really, they should have thought of that shit before having 8 kids.

apparently she has like $10 mill in the bank. if she invested smartly, she could go back to being a nurse although it would probably garner too much attention in the beginning.

she's been pretty successful writing books. i'm sure she'll continue with that venture.

either way, both of them are milking it for all they got since their show is now over and the kids can't be filmed anymore (due to jon putting a hold on that).

that's not exactly fair. although they did know using fertility treatment increased their chances of having multiples, i dont think anyone would be prepared to find out you're having sextuplets after you already have twins at home.

They knew the risks. They even had the opportunity to adopt a child rather than go for fertility treatment again. They could have reduced the number of multiples. They could have offered up some for adoption. There were many options available to them if they weren't financially stable enough to raise 8 children. I don't think whoring out your family to the media should be considered the most viable option.

oh i agree. there are plenty of other options than soliciting for a tv show to help raise your children.

but honestly.....if you and your husband found out you were having 6 kids at once, could you give up one/some for adoption? i know i couldn't. maybe if i was a crackhead or a single parent. i think that would be a very tough call. which kid/s would you give up? how would you deal with that down the road? i guess its a personal decision at the end of the day.
