But seriously, Jersey Shore is infinitely more enjoyable if you view it as a documentary of a culture you'll never be a part of. It's better because all the characters are pretty much the same, in contrast to the cherry-picked archetypes engineered for maximum conflict on Real World. So in that sense it's entertaining to see that hilarious drama ensues naturally amongst guidos when the situation is marginally less contrived than Real World.

^^i was thinking the same thing as i was watching it and saw commercials for real world RR challenges - i figured i wouldn't even know any of the characters anymore cause its been so long since i've watched mtv. well i take that back, i did watch hows your news last year on mtv cause that show was awesome.
