my friend's cousin was in town for thanksgiving 2 weeks ago, and she moved there for a job with her husband. she says it's great, but it's starting to get pretty expensive because so many people have been moving there. apparently there's a chinese restaurant on every corner.

Eh, Vancouver is one of my Top 5 cities I've ever been to. It's a REALLY, REALLY nice place. It also has the second largest restaurant/bar density in the world, behind Manhattan (going completely from memory, so I may not have worded that correct).

the worse part about Vancouver is the homeless people. They are everywhere. They will even panhandle WITHIN bars and restaurants. They are sneaky little shits.

Also they have a big heroin problem in the city. Stay the fuck away from their "skid row". We drove past and it looked like a sea of dirty black clothes and AIDS.
