I've been doing middle-button clicking for years.

Except for recently when I've just been using a touchpad instead of any actual mouse.
I miss middle-click.

Update:
After having just plugged my mouse back in, I have found that I am thoroughly abusing the middle-click feature.

I open up an inordinate amount of tabs just browsing TWW, and then realize after a bit that I'm still only using the most recent one and have no reason to refer to the others.

I had a thinkpad T61p for two years and the middle button didn't have that functionality. It scrolled, but wouldn't open tabs for some reason.
