I stopped believing he actually made the toys pretty early on... but i still thought he was a major distributor for quite a while, maybe like 3rd grade.

I'm not sure, but I figured continuing to feign belief in a guy who brought me a heaping load of toys every year could only be beneficial for me, so I continued to play along.

i dont think i ever really believed in it...i've always been a pretty logical thinker, and it just never made any sense that a motherfucker can go to every house in the world in one night

I was either 6 or 7. I wrote him this note, and I recognized "his" handwriting in the reply.

I still believe in Santa and leave him milk and cookies, well, no just big-macs now. Gotta keep him pretty big.

I was probably 9 or 10...my parents had me going for a while...it was easier for me to believe longer cause I had two younger brothers I guess.

When I finally told my mom I didn't believe she gave me the speech that no there isn't an actual man in a red suit that goes around house to house with presents but the spirit of him is real...blah blah blah

then I was threatened with my life if I told my brothers he wasn't real

However, santa still does visit my house and stuff our stockings...he even goes to my grandparents house still!

also lol at the people who said they never believed...unless your parents told you from the get go there was no santa I'm sure there was at least one year that you really believed in that guy...

when i found out, i was real quiet and i asked my parents "so i guess this means the tooth fairy and the easter bunny aren't real either?" they said no and all bets were off.

the world lost some color saturation that day

When I was about 4, I found a doll hiding in the bottom of my mom's closet when I went in to look for a t-shirt. I took it out and started playing with it, then got my little butt spanked when my parents found out. When I got the doll for Christmas, I knew.

not sure of the exact age, but at some point realized that there was a reason Santa could only afford the generic brand version of my christmas list. I stopped asking for expensive stuff after that.

I never believed in Santa My dad was kinda anti-santa and even pissed off people at church when he subbed for our preacher and gave a sermon on how santa was of the devil. Needless to say he didn't preach another sermon there for about 15 years.

i was in kindergarten i believe

seriously. how could a man get around the whole world in one night?

i also coudn't grasp how the elves made toys that were exact replicas of the things i wanted.
they were even in the box.

too many inconsistencies.

I found some presents at home before christmas one year and kept my mouth shut. When one of those gifts was from "Santa", I knew what the deal was.

Ha, my parents gave me all the good shit from themselves, and Santa gave me stuff I also wanted but wasn't quite as awesome/expensive.

I stopped believing when the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy corresponded with me through TWW, showing me how Santa's Facebook and Twitter Feed were actually just registered through a guy in Missouri and that I shouldn't afford one ounce of my wish power to that fat bastard.

I approached my parents about it when I was six, deducing that because they needed my letter to Santa, they must be Santa. I believe my brothers figured it during my parents' the divorce, when Santa could only bring us half the presents.

I never believed in Santa... the whole notion sounded ridiculous to me when I was a kid.

That didn't stop my parents from giving me presents from "Santa" though. I played along because my parents would spank me if I said he wasn't real.

^I don't believe you.

Like I said before, unless your parents told you from the very beginning there is no santa I don't see how a child could have never believed there was a santa.
Either that or your parents failed during the trust vs. mistrust period of your life and you never believed anything they ever said.

That's not deduction at all.
