On a scale of 1-10, 1 being something like "I'm ready to leave this place" and 10 being something like "I'm a premie member and I spend hours a day on this website and all my friends are on it and I've seen at least 6 webbers naked", how invested are you?

I figure... I'm a 6 or so. Not a premie, spend a fair amount of time on here, have a decent number of friends and e-friends on here. This place gets visited a good number of times a day.

Throw some facts about your involvement with TWW with your score and maybe we'll be able to come up with an empirical formula for tdub dedication

i've met a lot of twwers. i'd only consider a few of them friends. the rest are just acquaintances. i made some extra scratch on here this summer. the site is mainly just entertainment between classes and in the evenings. i would miss that entertainment if the site disappeared. i'm premie, which is a waste of money.

i'd say a 7 or 8.

yea we went as a tww group all the way down to wrightsville beach

i was really good friends with 3 or 4 of the people that went so it wasnt that alien to me

i mug with who i want, that was probably a 7 i cant remember how that trip came about actually but it was cool it wasnt the result of any major recruitment or anything

If this place suddenly vanished, I'd make more money, have more friends, and genrally be more successful and happy with my life

But I would absentmindedly click on the bookmark every few days out of habit and get sad when nothing came up

Its like your favorite show getting canceled...let it come to a natural ending like Lost; don't can it prematurely like Jericho or Surface

I log in 1-2 times a day for 20-30 minutes. Just a way to keep up on things. Coming here I can bypass the news sites, the 'break' style sites, and craigslist all in one fell swoop.

I got free premie (didn't even know it, thought that's what my $5 was for )
I read most of my news on here. I don't read any real news, so if it's interesting enough to make TWW then I might read it. TWW is like my filter.
I also get a lot of my sports news/info/crap from here.
Never met anyone strictly from TWW though.

I'd be fine if TWW stopped, but I like it fine enough just how it is. Makes me wonder when everbody talks about "the good ol' days" though.

Kind of how I feel. I used to go to parties and shit with some of the people. Haven't in a long time. Used to be 8-9. Now 4-5. I log on usually at least once a day, but I usually just lurk.

6 or 7. This site keeps me in the loop on a lot of things that happen around Raleigh and since i don't get to make it up there often i feel more connected to the city and campus around raleigh.

Plus i really spend a lot of time in the Entertainment thread...this site as a whole is a good place to have a conversations on endless amounts of topics without having to sign up for umpteen different messageboards. Sure there are some cockheads on here, but for the most part an intelligent discussion can take place outside of chit chat.

And lastly, this site brings daily lulz to my otherwise boring work week...i'd hate to see it end.

6 or 7. Aside from Entertainment and The Lounge, my main reason for coming to TWW over the past 2 years has been to see what my IRL friends are up to or posting in Chit Chat. We all post a lot less than what we used to, and my husband doesn't post at all anymore. There's a good number of users that I enjoy reading, still. I still enjoy posting (sometimes), but, like sparky, TWW is one of the first things I check in the morning.
