I actually saw antlers tonight for the first time tonight on a van at the foodlion on lake boone- the gf commented that it would be alot better if it had a red nose on the hood

I am. What's your point? For my part, I only have the lights on for 5 hours a night when I am home and I offset my light energy consumption by cutting back in other areas.

My view on Christmas lights have changed over the years....

when I was younger I loved the houses that were covered in lights, had their yards covered in lights, and everything was just lights.

But now I'm more of a fan of the simple greenery and white lights on the outside.

My father loves those light controllers (the things used to make the lights do that). I am a bit more old school in that I like the animation of chase lights and of sequenced wire frame animations and that's about it. I also HATE inflatables!

I know with all of you electrical engineering kiddies out there that someone else has surely put up some lights! Let's see them!!
