i will be the first to say...yes, i suck at parking.

i completely suck at parking. i will park several blocks away before i even attempt to parallel park

I parked at work one day, and some random guy in the parking lot was like, "Hey, you sure know how to handle your car." I guess because I didn't run over him or something.

and driving, math and logic.

I must admit, I'm beyond amazing at parking, especially in reverse. I wish I could've upped our results in the study.

Maybe driving in general, yeah. I don't think you could defend the thing about math/logic. All humans have the potential to let emotions get in the way of logic, it just seems to happen more often with females.

^^Only because men are physically stronger. In early civilizations, it didn't matter if men had better ideas. They were the ones able to enforce their will most effectively.[Edited on December 23, 2009 at 4:30 PM. Reason : ]

So get this.... a week ago I had to get some gas, PRONTO so I stopped at the nearest station which only had one tank open. It just so happened that I would have to back up to it, keep in mind the gas pump is on the right side.Behind me was a guy filling up his tank watching intently. I think he wanted to be amused or something. Anyway I pulled right up quickly and did a damn fine job if I do say so myself. He just smirked and continued filling.I can even parallel park. I think my only scary habit is my speeding... which has been toned down now after 3 speeding tickets since I've started driving... LAWLA

i learned how to drive a tahoe. one of the HUGE ones..you know with three rows of back seats so i'm pretty mean when it comes to trucks and stuff. i can take whatever you dish out, mostly.but i, for the life of me, cannot comprehend how small a car is when i'm driving it

Have you never seen it happen? They'll try to pull into a spot, and it won't even be a narrow spot, but they don't get the angle right or something, so they have to back out and try again, and they'll end up having to repeat the process around 3-4 times, and then they're still over the line. I see this probably 3 times a week at work.[Edited on December 23, 2009 at 5:20 PM. Reason : ]

I think the 20 seconds was the combination of the different parking maneuvers.

In reverse = backing into a spot.

I wonder how much of bad female driving is just inexperience(and lack of caring/bruised ego enough to practice) and how much is hormones filling their dainty little minds with visions of sugarplums. It boggles my mind when I try to show a girl something basic that will save them significant hardships like jump starting a car and they say they don't want to know.

I find girls so cute when they think they are equal.
