so last night i went out for the night around 6:30. and today my brother texts me at like 1pm and is like "do you have callie i haven't seen her all day"

and i'm like "???? no i'm at work???"

so i told him to check the attic and our guest room and other rooms where we usually keep the door shut. i also said to check my closet cause she sometimes runs in there when i open the door (i dunno why, she's fascinated by a walk in closet).

then i get a text from him at like 1:30 that says "your closet was the last place i checked and i found callie in it sitting on a mound of pistachios"

(all of my xmas presents, including a giant bag of pistachios, are in my closet)

POOR THING was locked in there for over 12 hours!! but at least she had food

i have been unable to find my old roommate's cat for days

but she always ended up still being tucked away somewhere in the apartment--usually in the roommie's boxspring

a) i didn't lose the dog AND it wasn't mine

b) she wasn't really lost she was IN the house. its just that no one knew where she was! which routinely happens with my cats (they're usually sleeping under something) but they just aren't trapped!

my old cat, Chuck, used to eat pistachios with his kitty-hands. never seen anything like it. he'd reach in the jar, get a nut, pull it out and open it his aforementioned kitty-hands.
he could also benchpress like 85lbs. thats good for a cat

How do you lose a pug? Just go to where the food is, or listen for snorting.

i unintentionally lock my cat in the closet all the time

and i intentionally lock her in the laundry room (w litter box) when her bitch ass is waking me up and in the half bath downstairs when she wont fucking shut up

otherwise shes awesome and we cuddle non stop and she lets me do all kinds of annoying shit to her that no other cat would tolerate. i tell her im getting back at her for waking me up at 4am for food

when I was younger the family cat shut itself in the washer and was in there for 2 or 3 days

we had given up all hope before finding it

ditto. i will intentionally lock my cats places (usually just out of my room) when they are being irritating.

i know pistachios are highly toxic to dogs, not really sure about cats. i still wouldn't let them eat them. the pistachios contain aflatoxin a lot of times and can cause serious liver/kidney problems. this was the same thing in the diamond pet food contamination thing a couple years ago.

not a good idea

quit being a pussy 73.

if the cat dies, its no big deal. clearly she doesnt care for it in the first place locking it in closets and all.
