kudomatsu are not easy to make. I tried two years ago and it was very dinky. Don't even get my started on my shimenawa.

I kind of agree with McDanger. It's kind of strange to "practice" a religion that is exclusive to one country and isn't even really "practiced" in that country save visiting a shrine while on vacation or during the New Year.
