Thanks for the heads up brian. I haven't looked into that in years and haven't cared (b/c I won't buy one) but I guess they changed the law.

And as far as passing a cop you guys are a bunch of pussies. I've passed plenty of cops. What, should I go 10 under the speed limit just b/c they are?

Uh you seem to be confused.

Here's why:

Cops hide behind things so people dont see them. When people who are obviously speeding pass by, they turn on their radar and get the vehicle's speed. Radar detectors don't help you here because they only detect guns that are ON. I wasn't talking about passing cops while you're both moving, and you assumed I was. Thus you are in error.

My radar detector has saved my ass many times. Radar beams will bounce off a car in front of you. So if you're approaching a bridge with a hidden cop car and he's clocking ppl in front of you, you will recieve some weak radar signals. Also, my detector tells me if radar is coming from behind so it's not an issue then either.
